Eckford Engineering is a structural and general engineering company based in the beautiful South Island town of Blenheim with over 50 years experience in heavy engineering.
We are a major and an integral part in the structural steel market working closely with some of Marlborough's leading construction companies.
We have an enthusiastic team of qualified fabricators and ticketed welders who are willing to go the extra mile for our clients, and we take pride in the quality of our work and service we provide.

3D Modelling | Detailing
Our in-house detailer uses state of the art 3D modelling software on each project to create accurate, detailed and informative shop drawings for fabrication. This high level of accuracy ensures there are no on-site clashes and reduces the risk of costly surprises.
Fabrication | Machining
Our team of experienced, qualified and ticketed fabricators as well as a machinist in our custom built workshop can have multiple projects going at once. Our team are all regularly trained to keep up with safety and industry standards.
Erection | Installation
Our one of a kind, purpose built hiab truck with a mounted crane and reversable deck along with our highly experienced truck driver, riggers and on-site welders, we can safely and efficiently erect steel structures in a timely manner.

GENERAL ENGINEERING
Designed and engineered in Edwardstown South Australia and distributed in New Zealand by Eckford Engineering 2002 Ltd, Ocloc has a complete range of vineyard trellis requirements from free standing strainers and line posts, with soft rounded wire holes requiring no clips.
Ocloc is a strong steel system for new vineyard developments and cost-effective maintenance and replacement of broken wooden trellis posts.
